Byng, OK : 13-year-old boy has been killed in a go-cart crash at Byng on Monday , April 18th, 2016

Authorities say a 13-year-old boy has been killed in a go-cart crash in Byng in south-central Oklahoma.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the boy drove the go-cart across a road and into the path of a pickup truck shortly before 10 p.m. Monday. The driver of the pickup was not injured.

The boy's name was not released. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A police report says the weather was cloudy and the road was dry at the time of the accident.
