Easley man killed in Pickens crash in Greenville South Carolina

An Easley man was killed in a crash in Pickens County on Monday night.The single-car crash happened about 10:30 p.m. at the intersection of Norman Drive and Winston Way near Easley.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol said the vehicle was traveling north on Norman Drive when the driver, identified by the Pickens County Coroner's Office as 24-year-old Dustin Goddard, ran off the left side of the road.
Troopers said the vehicle traveled down an embankment, flipped and landed on its roof in about two feet of water.Investigators said Goddard was taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital, where he later died.Goddard was wearing his seat belt, troopers said.
