PHILADELPHIA, PA : Church parking lot hit-and-run leaves 69-year-old woman critically injured on Sunday, 26th November 2023

Philadelphia police say a vehicle was leaving a church parking lot when it hit an older woman, then fled the scene this weekend.
The 69-year-old victim was waiting for a ride home on Knights Road at around 7:30 P.M. following Mass, when she was struck by a vehicle pulling out of the Our Lady of Calvary.
She was transported to a local hospital, where she is said to be in critical condition.
In a statement released by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Monday, the church said the vehicle who hit the longtime parishioner did not remain on the scene.
