SANTA ROSA COUNTY, FL : 17-year-old Pace girl killed, two girls injured in ATV crash on Sunday, 5th November 2023

A 17-year-old Pace girl was killed and two other juveniles were injured in an ATV crash Sunday afternoon on a private property.

It happened around 2:30 p.m. at a property at Little Creek Way and Wallace Lake Road.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, the 17-year-old girl was driving the ATV with two passengers -- an 11-year-old Pace girl and a 16-year-old Pace girl -- when she lost control of the vehicle while navigating a curve on Little Creek Road. The ATV ran off the roadway and collided with a tree.

The 17-year-old girl was pronounced dead on scene, while the other two girls were transported to Sacred Heart Hospital with serious injuries.
