Garden City, KS : Three hurt in auto accident on April, Monday 10th 2017
Three Garden City residents were injured Monday afternoon in an auto accident in Garden City.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Juana Fuentes, driving a Pontiac Sunfire, failed to yield right of way while crossing Kansas Highway 156 from Jenny Barker Road and struck a westbound Cadillac Escalade.
Fuentes, 60, and her passenger, Dalila Nava, 58, suffered possible injuries and were transported to St. Catherine Hospital.
The driver of the other vehicle, Arik A. Varela, 25, was not injured. Her passenger, Sarahi Garcia, 25, also suffered a possible injury and was transported to St. Catherine Hospital. The hospital did not provide updated conditions as of news deadline.
According to the KHP, Varela and Fuentes were wearing seatbelts; Nava and Sarahi were not.
