Houston ,TX : Two people killed in Crash after fatal collision along I-20 on Monday ,May 4th 2015
A 31-year-old man and a 51-year-old man who were killed in a collision Monday on Interstate 20 have been identified, according to a release from the Texas Department of Public Safety.
John Edward Reynolds of Vicksburg, Miss., and Tommy Lee Rivers, of Fort Worth, were identified as the two men who were killed when a vehicle, driven by 53-year-old Hector Botello Jr. of Corpus Christi, crossed the median of I-20 and collided with their vehicle, according to the release.
Reynolds, 31, and Rivers, 51, were pronounced dead at the scene by officials with Odessa Fire and Rescue, according to the release.
Botello Jr. was transported to Medical Center Hospital and was listed in serious condition Tuesday afternoon, according to the release.
Both Reynolds and Rivers were reportedly wearing seatbelts at the time of the collision.
DPS spokeswoman Elena Viramontes said the accident is still under investigation.
