Rapid City, SD : One injured in collision in downtown Rapid City on Saturday, November 22, 2014
One woman was taken to a local hospital after a collision at the intersection of Eighth and St. Joseph streets about 3:30 p.m. Saturday, according to police.
The woman was driving north on Eighth Street and apparently ran a red light, said Sgt. Darren Soucy of the Rapid City Police Department. Her vehicle collided with one eastbound on St. Joseph Street, Soucy said.
No other people were injured in the collision, he said, adding that the woman's injuries did not appear to be life threatening.
Charges are pending, and Soucy said alcohol was not a factor in the collision.
The names of the drivers involved were not available.
