Marshall, MO : Woman treated for injuries after crash on Saturday, January 7th 2017

At 5:35 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, a one-vehicle crash resulted in minor injuries for a Slater woman.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the crash occurred on Route 41, roughly one-half mile south of Arrow Rock Road, when the 1996 Buick Park Avenue that Barbara Peroutka was driving crossed the center line and went off the left side of the road.

The Buick returned to the road, crossed the center a second time, overcorrected and began to slide, according to the report. The vehicle crossed the center line again, traveled off the left side of the road, struck an embankment and overturned.

Peroutka, 44, of Slater, was transported by ambulance to a Cooper County hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The report stated she was wearing a safety device.
