Champaign County ,IL : one person injured in two-vehicle crash on state Route 235 on Friday October 9 2015

The victim in the two-vehicle accident on state Route 235 at Christiansburg-Jackson Road is an adult female who has been taken to Springfield Regional Medical Center and not Upper Valley Med Center.Her injuries are not believed to be life threatening, the Christiansburg Fire Department incident commander said.According to the state patrol trooper on scene, a Honda Civic headed west on Christiansburg-Jackson Road pulled into the path of a Honda SUV headed south on state Route 235.The driver of the Civic has been cited for failure to yield the right of way, the trooper said.State Route 235 has been reopened to traffic.
