Elmore, AL : Pedestrian struck and killed by car on road east of Elmore on Sunday, August 3, 2014

Authorities say a pedestrian has died after being struck by a vehicle east of Elmore. The Montgomery Advertiser reports that 45-year-old Charles Huzzelle Morris of Millbrook died at a hospital Sunday afternoon after being struck by a 2006 Saturn Ion on Fitzpatrick Road. Authorities said the crash happened shortly after 5-00 a.m. Sunday. Alabama State Troopers were investigating the crash. No further information was available early Monday.
