1 Dead, 10 Injured After Party Bus Crash in California

One woman was killed and as many as 10 people were injured when a party bus crashed into a car in the San Francisco Bay Area, Calif., Sunday morning
At about 2:05 a.m., the driver of a Honda coupe traveling southbound on U.S. Highway 101 in Burlingame collided with the center divide, California Highway Patrol Officer Art Montiel said.
The vehicle came to rest facing northbound in the left lane, he said.
According to preliminary information, a party bus heading south crashed head-on with the disabled Honda, Montiel said.
A woman in her 30s who was a passenger in the Honda was killed and pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.
The driver was taken to Stanford Hospital with major injuries.
Ten people aboard the bus were taken to hospitals with moderate injuries, according to the CHP.
Both parties in the Honda had allegedly consumed alcohol before the crash, according to the CHP.
No arrests have been made.
The incident remains under investigation by the CHP.
