TUCSON, AZ : Motorcycle Crash on I-10 Leads to Hospitalization on Saturday, 19th October 2024

At approximately 6:17 a.m. on Saturday, Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS) officials say they received reports of a motorcycle crash near milepost 253 on Interstate 10.

The motorcycle was found on the ground at the end of a construction zone on the frontage road, having reportedly traveled through barricades before crashing.

AZDPS says emergency responders located the rider around 6:37 a.m. Medical personnel were dispatched to the scene and transported the driver to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities suspect impairment may have been a factor in the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
