CLINTON COUNTY, IA : 3 children killed in Clinton County crash According to the Iowa State Patrol on Monday, 7th October 2024

Three children are dead following a Monday morning crash in Clinton County.

According to an Iowa State Patrol crash report, a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee was stopped for some unknown reason in the outside lane of Highway 30, around the 3700 block. A 2023 Dodge 4500 flatbed truck towing a trailer was driving eastbound and rear-ended the Jeep, which was sent into the south ditch. The Jeep came to a rest on the south shoulder.
