Norwalk, OH : Trooper hurt in Huron County crash on Friday, 29th June 2018

A state Highway Patrol trooper was injured in a two-vehicle crash that happened Friday night in Huron County’s Townsend Township. Trooper Ashley Keller was driving a 2017 marked Dodge Charger patrol car on Hartland Center Road at 7:08 p.m., attempting to respond to a traffic accident. As she tried to cross the intersection at Ohio 18, her patrol car was hit by a westbound 2005 Dodge Ram being driven by Bruce W. Hose, 53, of New London, said troopers with the patrol’s Norwalk post.

Troopers were at the scene of an earlier two-vehicle crash at the same intersection when this crash occurred. Details about the first crash were unavailable at press time.
