Monessen, PA : Route 28 north reopens after accident on Tuesday, January, 9th 2018

Both lanes of Route 28 north have reopened after an accident near the Highland Park Bridge, a PennDOT spokesman confirmed.

The lanes reopened about 4:30 p.m. following a multi-car accident at the Aspinwall exit about 3:20 p.m.

PennDOT spokesman Steve Cowan advised drivers to expect residual delays in the area.

No other information was immediately available.
