Erie,PA : Bicyclist injured in west Erie crash on September, Saturday 16th 2017

A 9-year-old boy riding a bike was injured Saturday night when he was struck by a car at West 18th and Cascade streets, Erie police said.

The boy was heading northbound on Cascade Street when he rode his bike into the path of a car, which was eastbound on West 18th Street, police said.

The crash happened just before 8 p.m. The boy was taken to Saint Vincent Hospital for treatment of minor injuries, police said.
