St. Petersburg, FL : 40-year-old man died on early Saturday morning in a motorcycle crash on October 18th 2014

A 40-year-old St. Petersburg man died early Saturday from injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash. Jason Eric Itro was pronounced dead at the scene just before 1 am. According to a St. Petersburg Police Department report Ito was traveling west on 83rd Ave. Northeast when he failed to negotiate a curve in the 400 block. His 2006 Honda motorcycle drove over the south curb of the roadway, went down a slight embankment and struck a concrete drain culvert. Itro came to rest in a small body of water.
