Indianapolis, IN : Two motorists dead and one passenger injured after a crash on Interstate 465 in Indianapolis on Sunday, December 13, 2015

Indiana State Police say two motorists are dead and one passenger is hurt after a crash on Interstate 465 in Indianapolis.

State Police say troopers responded to the crash at about 2:35 a.m. Sunday on the interstate and Shadeland Avenue. The victims were identified as 25-year-old Reanna McCormick of Indianapolis and 39-year-old Steven Mann of Jasper. They were pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say 37-year-old Henry Pierce Jr. of Indianapolis was driving a vehicle northbound on a ramp and struck a guardrail.

Authorities say McCormick's vehicle also was traveling north on the ramp before it left the roadway, went up an embankment and over a guardrail. It landed on a third vehicle traveling on Shadeland Avenue driven by Mann.

A front-seat passenger in Mann's car was in critical condition.
