Livingston,IL : Livingston County crash claims 2 lives on August, Saturday 12th 2017

Two Livingston County men were killed in a weekend crash near Pontiac.

Livingston County Coroner Danny Watson said Monday that the accident occurred in the early morning hours Saturday, about a quarter mile south of Livingston County Road 1600 on Old Route 66.

Pronounced dead at the scene were 25-year-old Devon Millsap and 21-year-old Nicholas Hackney, both of Pontiac. An official time of death was not available.

Watson said both men were ejected from the vehicle, a black Mitsubishi Montero Sport.

“It apparently left the road, went into the east ditch and the car rolled several times,” he said. “Both men were ejected from the car.”

Autopsies have been ordered and toxicology reports are pending, he said.

Assisting the coroner’s office at the scene were Pontiac Fire, Duffy Ambulance, Pontiac Police, the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department and Illinois State Police.
