LORIS, SC : One person flown from scene of moped crash near Loris on Tuesday, 8th November 2016

One person was flown by medevac helicopter from the scene of a vehicle crash involving a moped Tuesday morning, according to Lance Cpl. Matt Southern with the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

Information from the SCHP’s website stated the collision occurred at 11:36 a.m., at 337 Old Todd Ferry Road, near Hewitt Road, in the Loris area.

Southern said there was no immediate information on the extent of the individual’s injuries or the cause of the crash.
