New Albany,IN : New Albany man charged in deadly bus crash on October, Friday 6th 2017

A man from New Albany is facing eight felony charges in connection to a deadly bus crash.

Indiana State police arrested Brian Hodges Friday after a warrant was issued out of Monroe County.

In July, the passenger bus he was driving crashed into a minivan stopped in a construction zone on a highway just North of Bloomington.

The impact caused a chain reaction that left three people dead.

ISP said the investigation determined Hodges was going 65 miles an hour in a 30 mile per hour construction zone and had amphetamine and methamphetamine in his system.
