Baltimore, MD : One man died and two others injured in Fatal collision on Route 32 north of Lakeland Drive Finksburg on Sunday afternoon, May 10, 2015

An Eldersburg man has died and two others were injured when a 2005 Nissan Altima and a 2001 Ford Ranger collided Sunday afternoon on Maryland Route 32 (Sykesville Road) north of Lakeland Drive Finksburg.

According to Maryland State Police at the Westminster Barrack, the Nissan, driven by Rita Guzovsky, 67, of Eldersburg, was traveling south on Sykesville Road, failed to negotiate a curve, crossed the center line and struck head-on the Ford, driven by Jaqueline Powers, 70, of Finksburg.

Boris Guozovsky, 78, of Eldersburg, a passenger in the Nissan, was pronounced dead at the scene by a forensic investigator from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

Both drivers were flown to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma by Maryland State Police Medevac to be treated for critical injuries. Members of Gamber and Community Volunteer Fire Co. provided rescue and medical services on scene.
