PITTSBURGH, PA : Driver in fatal wrong-way crash entered Rt. 28 at Anderson Street on Saturday, 30th January 2021

Two people died Saturday morning in a wrong-way crash on Route 28 in Pittsburgh, police said.

The head-on crash happened shortly after 7 a.m. in the southbound lanes, near the East Ohio Street exit.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the fatalities as Kapinga Madeline Mulumba, 45, of the North Side, and Carlos Burley, 31, of the North Side.
