EDGERTON, WI : Interstate 90/39 crashes slow traffic on Sunday, September 25, 2016

As the southbound lanes of Interstate-90/39 near Edgerton were being cleared from a Sunday afternoon crash, another I-90/39 crash happened near Milwaukee Street in Janesville, according to Wisconsin Department of Transportation news releases.

Both crashes resulted in injuries, but the severity and number of victims weren't immediately available, a Wisconsin State Patrol representative said.

The first crash happened at 1 p.m. near Highway 59 and closed the southbound lanes for more than two hours. The second crash was reported at 3:40 p.m. and closed the left northbound I-90/39 lane until just before 5 p.m., according to releases.
