A bicyclist has died in Charlestown, New Hampshire, after being hit by a car.
It happened on Route 12 near the intersection of Route 12A in Sullivan County.
Police say Lance Torrey, 50, was riding his bike when he veered into the northbound travel lane and into the path of a car driven by Jeremiah Lawrence, 23, of Claremont.
Torrey was rushed to the Springfield Hospital in Vermont where he was pronounced dead.
Police say alcohol and speed do not appear to be factors in this crash. They say, for now, it does not appear any criminal charges will be filed.
