Pike County ,AR :Janet Rae Walker, 60 killed after she lost control and hit embankment on Thursday ,September 10th 2015

Also Thursday, a motorcyclist from Louisiana was killed on Arkansas 27 in Pike County after she lost control while going around a curve, according to a state police report.

Janet Rae Walker, 60, of Benton, La., was driving a 1998 Harley-Davidson north on Arkansas 27 at 1:43 p.m. when she lost control on a curve, left the road and hit an embankment, the report said. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

At the time of the crash, the weather was clear and roads were dry.
