Stiller was rushed to Stanford Hospital where he died from his injuries. The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner's Office identified him Thursday.

According to an online profile, Stiller was a notable competitive runner dating back to the 1970s, when he was ranked among the top 30 runners in Northern California.
