Louisville, KY : Horse trainer, 4 friends injured in car crash after Kentucky Derby on Saturday, May 7, 2016

Horse trainer Dale Romans and four of his friends were injured in a car accident after the Kentucky Derby.

Romans told WLKY that he didn't leave the track until 9 p.m. Saturday and that the accident happened at 10 p.m.

He said he was driving southbound on Southern Parkway on his way to take his friends to the Veterans of Foreign Wars post on Longfield Avenue.

That’s when a vehicle on Southern Parkway ran a stop sign and collided with his vehicle, sending it into traffic. He said a pickup truck then T-boned his vehicle.
