Midland,MI : One dead in Gladwin County crash on June, Saturday 3rd 2017

One person died in a crash that occurred Saturday morning in Gladwin County, deputies report.
A media release from the Gladwin County Sheriff’s Office states the crash occurred at 7:43 a.m. when Brandi Matthews of Weidman lost control of the vehicle she was driving on M-30 north of Secord Dam Road.
The vehicle crossed the center line of M-30, went into a ditch and struck several trees.
The backseat passenger, Anthony Noell of Oscoda, died as a result of the crash.
Matthews and three additional passengers were taken to the MidMichigan Medical Center-Midland for treatment. A Sunday morning update from the sheriff’s office states the four people are expected to recover from their injuries.
Deputies were assisted by Gladwin EMS, the Secord Fire Department and the Clement Fire Deaprtment.
The crash remains under investigation.
