A Tigard couple and their baby daughter died Saturday morning after their car collided with a utility vehicle towing a trailer several miles west of the Santiam Pass summit on U.S. 20.
A family member identified them as Fred Fefelov, 34, Tiffany Fefelov, 27, and Mila, who was seven months old.
They were on their way to a church marriage retreat, said Allen James, uncle of Tiffany Fefelov. They left behind a son, Ewan, 6.
The Fefelov's 2010 Dodge Caliber was eastbound, lost control on a wet roadway and traveled broadside into the path of a 2001 Chevrolet Suburban pulling 32-foot travel trailer, according to Oregon State Police.
The Fefelovs were pronounced dead at the scene of the 10 a.m. crash. People in the Suburban, Francis Hart, 78, and his wife Sally Hart, 77, were not hurt, police said.
Further details were not available. The collision remains under investigation.
