JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP, OH : 2-vehicle crash sends one to hospital on Friday, October 7, 2016

A man was taken to the hospital after an early morning crash in Jefferson Township.

It happened just after midnight on Friday at the intersection of West Third Street and Victory Drive.

Police say a man driving a white 2001 Hyundai Accent rear-ended man in a blue Chevy pick-up truck. The impact of the crash caused the truck to spin nearly 180 degrees, while the car spun off the road and into a business privacy fence.

The driver of the white car was taken to Miami Valley Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the pick-up was examined on scene and was uninjured.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
