FLORENCE, SC : Richmond man killed In I-75 crash near Florence on Sunday, 7th October 2018

Authorities say a Richmond man was killed when the pickup truck he was driving slammed into the back of a tractor trailer.

Florence Police Department officials say 39-year-old Phillip Todd Becraft crashed into the back of the trailer and became lodged around midnight Saturday on Interstate-75 at mile marker 180.

Police say the crash caused both vehicles to come to a stop.

Becraft was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.
