RENTON, WA : 4 killed, 3 critically injured in Renton crash involving 4 vehicles on Tuesday, 19th March 2024

Four people died and three others were critically injured in a multi-vehicle crash in Renton on Tuesday. An eighth person suffered minor injuries.

The crash involving four vehicles happened around 12:45 p.m. in the 19200 block of 140th Avenue SE on Tuesday, according to fire officials.

Speed seems to have played a factor in the collision, the King County Sheriff's Office said, based on its initial investigation. The intersection was closed until just before 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
