FLATWOODS, KY : Flatwoods man dies in accident on Wednesday, February 1st 2017

A Flatwoods man died after his vehicle went off the road and struck a home in the 3100 block of Ky. 1458 early Wednesday morning.

Ronald Salyers, 55, died from injuries suffered in the accident, according to Greenup County Coroner Neil Wright.

The vehicle hit the home around 2 a.m. No one was home at the time of the accident.

Drugs and/or alcohol are not believed to have been involved.

The call originally came in as a loud noise complaint. The vehicle veered off the road and hit the house.

Salyers’ body was sent to the state medical examiner’s office in Frankfort.

The accident is being investigated by the Flatwoods Police Department.
