Monte Vista, CO : 48-year-old man killed in a one-vehicle traffic accident early Friday, July 29, 2016

A 48-year-old Monte Vista man was killed early Friday when he lost control of the vehicle he was driving.

On July 29 at approximately 1:20 a.m., the Monte Vista Police Department was dispatched to the area of the 2100 block of East Drive for a one-vehicle traffic accident. They were assisted by the Monte Vista Fire Department, Rio Grande Sheriff Office, Monte Vista Ambulance and Colorado State Patrol.
