Slayton, MN : 42-year-old Fulda resident died in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 59 in Murray County on Friday, November 18, 2016

A 42-year-old Fulda resident died Friday as a result of a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 59 in Murray County.

The Minnesota State Patrol investigated the crash, which was reported at 6:17 a.m. Friday from U.S. 59 near milepost 49, A 2013 Freightliner semi operated by Sahal A. Mohamed, 29, of St. Paul and a 2014 Toyota truck operated by Pen War, 39, of Fulda, were involved in a broadside crash.

Ler Gay, 42, a passenger in the Toyota, died as a result of the crash. Another passenger in the Toyota, Ha L. Moo, 18, of Fulda, as well as War did not have documented injuries, Mohamed sustained a non-life-threatening injury.

The Minnesota State Patrol is continuing to investigate the crash.
