Albuquerque ,NM : One man dead in crash after his truck collided with another vehicle and truck flipped over along Interstate 40 on Saturday Morning ,March 21st 2015

Albuquerque police say a man is dead after his truck collided with another vehicle on Interstate 40.

Police spokesman Simon Drobik says the collision happened around 9:30 a.m. Saturday as the truck was going westbound on an I-40 frontage road.

According to a witness, the driver of the truck failed to stop at a red light and crashed into a vehicle traveling northbound.

Drobik says the truck flipped over and the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

It also appears he was not using a seatbelt.

The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.

Investigators have not yet determined if speeding or alcohol was a factor.
