LANTANA, FL : Boynton man killed in crash that closed Federal Highway on Friday, 9th November 2018

A three-vehicle crash near Hypoluxo Road left a Boynton Beach man dead and closed traffic in both directions on Federal Highway for hours Friday morning.

Ever Maximiliano Zelaya, 33, died on the scene after he was ejected from the 2006 Infiniti G35 he was driving, then was struck by a 2005 Acura RL as he lay on the pavement, according to a Florida Highway Patrol investigation.

After hitting Zelaya, the Acura overturned, leaving its driver, Ralph Rosado with serious injuries. Rosado, 37, was taken to Bethesda Hospital East in Boynton Beach. No place of residence for Rosado was immediately available.
