Lamar County, AL : Bryce Elijah Myles, 16, died and another injured in single car crash on Lamar County 36 on Thursday morning, June 25, 2015

A single-vehicle crash Thursday morning claimed the life of a Sulligent teen and injured another, Alabama State Troopers said.

Bryce Elijah Myles, 16, was killed around 7:40 a.m. after the Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck he was riding in left County 36 and struck two trees. Myles was pronounced dead at the scene while the injured driver -- 16-year-old Temijah Jarell Lang -- was taken to Winfield Medical Center. Lang's condition is unknown at this time.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
