WHITEHALL TWP, PA : Crash causes diesel spill in Whitehall on Monday, 11th March 2024

Crews spent part of Monday morning cleaning up a reported diesel fuel spill in Whitehall Township.An oil truck and an SUV crashed around 10 a.m. on Third Street near Summit Street, off of Route 22.

Diesel could be seen across part of the road, and crews blocked off storm drains in the area. The road was closed while Lehigh County's hazmat team responded.

Authorities have not said how much fuel spilled or what led to the crash.
