LELAND, NC : Bicyclist taken to hospital after Leland crash on Old Landvale Road Northeast on Wednesday, 13th February 2019

A bicyclist was taken to the hospital after a crash involving a car near Leland.

According to the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened at 4:01 p.m. Wednesday on Old Landvale Road Northeast in Leland. After a crash involving a Jeep Cherokee, one bicyclist was transported to New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

The extent of the cyclist’s injuries and the circumstances of the crash were not immediately available Wednesday evening.
