Longmont,CO : Pedestrian at fault in collision with vehicle on December, Wednesday 13th 2017

Longmont police say that preliminary investigation revealed that a woman struck by a car on Tuesday evening illegally walked into the intersection.

Sgt. Eric Lewis said that no charges are expected to be filed against the woman, however, and she had been taken to Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland for treatment on Wednesday.

Lewis said the woman, whose name hasn't been released, was in stable condition. She had been taken to University of Colorado Health in Longmont on Tuesday evening following the crash at Ninth Avenue and Pace Street.

He said no one else was injured in the crash.
