Milwaukee, WI : Man injured when stolen vehicle hits squad car, crashes near West Norwich Street on Sunday morning, Nov 1, 2015

Four people, including three teenagers, were taken into custody and a fifth person was injured in a brief police chase and crash in Milwaukee Sunday morning.

According to police, officers responded to reports of a stolen minivan near West Norwich Street just after 11 a.m.

The driver of the stolen minivan sideswiped a responding patrol car, lost control and hit a pole, police said.

Four people -- a 15-year-old boy, two 16-year-old girls and an 18-year-old man -- ran, but were later apprehended.

A fifth person -- an 18-year-old man -- was ejected from the vehicle and taken to a hospital with serious injuries.

Police said they believe the five suspects are responsible for a garage burglary in the area.

The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating.
