Marshall, MO : A two-vehicle accident that occurred on U.S. Highway 65 on February, Tuesday 6th 2018

New information was released about a two-vehicle accident that occurred on U.S. Highway 65 and Fairground Road at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 23.

According to a Marshall Police Department report, upon arrival, officers observed a 2005 Ford Taurus, driven by Makayla Bowlen, to be facing north in the southbound lane of U.S. Highway 65, south of the intersection of Fairground Road.

Officers also observed a 2014 Ford, driven by Jani Tobin, to be overturned in the ditch on the east side of the northbound lane of U.S. Highway 65, south of the intersection of Fairground Road.

MPD officers made contact with Bowlen, who stated she did not remember the accident or any details of the accident.

Both vehicles were towed due to damage. Drivers were transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital for treatment.
