Accident leaves person dead near New Orleans Louisiana

Authorities are on the scene of a fatal accident on I-10 eastbound near Airline Highway.

The accident closed down the Carrollton Avenue exit ramp.
Two cars were involved, but there's no word on what caused the accident.Officials say one person is dead and another person is in critical condition. Their identities haven't been released.
