Canterbury, N.H : Concord woman found dead in I-93 crash in Canterbury Saturday night on June 7, 2014
Canterbury, New Hampshire
A Concord woman who was the subject of a police welfare check Saturday night was found dead Monday morning in a crashed car off Interstate 93 in Canterbury.
State police said Diana Soule, 51, likely died of blunt force trauma after her car hit a tree. Police do not suspect foul play.
According to a news release, just after 7 a.m. Monday, New Hampshire State Police from Troop D responded to a report of a vehicle off the side of the road on I-93 south in Canterbury. Troopers located a sedan partially concealed within the tree line. The car’s lone occupant was dead.
The initial investigation indicated the car was traveling south on I-93 when it veered right off the road and struck a tree, police said.
Soule had been the subject of a “check the welfare” police broadcast, per the family’s request, about 9:30 p.m. Saturday, according to state police.
