COLUMBUS, OH : 1 man is dead after two-vehicle crash at Rickenbacker Airport on Sunday, 26th May 2019

A stolen blue Honda Accord, driven this afternoon by a man who was not wearing his seatbelt, went left of center on Rickenbacker Parkway West, flipped at the edge of a wood and landed on its driver.

Franklin County Sheriff's Office said the driver seems to have lost control of the car on Rickenbacker Parkway West, south of Vause Road.

The Accord went left of center, crossing the center median and curbs. It crossed the southbound lanes of Rickenbacker Parkway West, struck the curb on the left side of the road, left the road, and overturned.

At some point, the driver was ejected from the vehicle, and the airborne driver and the overturning car came to rest at the edge of the woods, the sheriff's office said.
