A deadly crash in Daviess County is under investigation.

The sheriff’s office says it happened in the 5600 block of Highway 54 on Wednesday.

We’re told a UPS delivery truck was driving east and made a left hand turn into the Kangaroo Express parking lot into the path of a Ford Escort.

The driver of the UPS truck, Miles Glin, was taken to the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for treatment.

Sheriff’s deputies say the driver and passenger of the Escort, 25-year-old Edward Davis and 24-year-old Sarah Fitzgerald, were pronounced dead at the scene by the coroner’s office.

The crash is still under investigation.
