AKRON, OH : Man dies in late-night hit-and-run pedestrian crash in Akron on Thursday, 13th April 2023

A 40-year-old man has died after Akron police say he was struck by a hit-and-run vehicle shortly before 11 p.m. Thursday in the 700 block of West Market Street.

Based on the investigation, Akron police say officers determined that before the accident, the pedestrian was on the north side of West Market Street between two buildings.
