Harrisburg, AR : Venisa Lynn Jones, 52, killed in a two vehicle crash on Highway 69 in Poinsett County on Saturday, July 2, 2016

One person was killed in a two vehicle crash in Poinsett County.

According to an Arkansas State Police crash report, a 2008 Nissan driven by Venisa Lynn Jones, 52, of Harrisburg was driving on Highway 69 eastbound near the Shady Grove community around 3 p.m. on Saturday.

The report says that Jones ran off the road and over corrected. When she did that, she drove in to the path of a 2012 Ford.

Jones died in the crash.

Weather conditions were clear at the time of the accident.
